Research visit to SAIC

Last month PRG co-lead Michael Pinchbeck met colleagues at SAIC (Chicago) to discuss potential collaborations. Thanks to Prof. Roberto Sifuentes (Chair of Performance) and Prof. Mark Jeffery for an extensive tour of their impressive facilities including the Retro Lab and immersive audio suite where we met Assoc. Prof.  Kristin McWharter and Prof. Lou Mallozzi (Art and Technology Studies and Sound Practices). We then had a fascinating visit to Library, Special Collections where April Sheridan, Special Collections Librarian, showed us some amazing resources from the archive. We look forward to developing connections with SAIC and Prof. Roberto Sifuentes will be presenting an artist talk at Manchester Met on 26 November. More information here..
