Michael Pinchbeck’s article in Performance Research

PRG co-lead Michael Pinchbeck has recently had an article published in an issue of Performance Research on a performance he made in 2010, The End, exploring the theatre as a place of endings and exits. ‘Between an Ellipsis and an Ouroboros: Reflections on, and repetitions of, The End’, co-authored with my collaborator Ollie Smith, is in a special issue of Performance Research on the theme of Exits and Endings. The article places the piece’s site-specific approach in thematic dialogue with other theatre about endings and last performances including Goat Island’s The Lastmaker, Ivana Müller’s Playing Ensemble Again and Again and Tim Crouch’s Truth’s a Dog, Must to Kennel. More information and full article available below!
