Queer Up North

A new project has been awarded Heritage Lottery Funding to collect, preserve and celebrate Queer Up North/ queerupnorth 1992-2002. Aiming to develop, build and curate one of the UK’s most significant archives of historical LGBTQIA+ materials focussing on the QUN Festivals between1992-2002 as they relate to broader LGBTIQ+ culture and history, and the life of Manchester in that decade. The project is working closely with Manchester School of Theatre and John Deeney, member of the Performance Research Group.
