Performing Scores / Scoring Performance

The Performance Research Group hosted a conference and sharing event ‘Performing Scores / Scoring Performance’, at HOME in Manchester on 11-12 July 2023. The conference sought to interrogate the concepts and uses of scores in performance and performance studies, as both starting points and modes of documentation, and to bring this area of thinking and practice into productive dialogue. We are now working on a special issue of Performance Research ‘On Scores’.
