Talking Trees / 树说/述说
Michael Pinchbeck visited Ningbo, China, for research and development for Talking Trees / 树说/述说 to create an audio walk across the University of Nottingham’s Ningbo campus. The project combines notions of language, landscape and soundscapes and it is currently installed at the University of Nottingham here. The project has been supported by AHEAD, Manchester School of Art and Nottingham Confucius Institute.
Talking Trees / 树说/述说 is a collaborative research project that provides students from the University of Nottingham (UoN) and other UK HE institutions with the opportunity to ‘Journey to the East’ without travelling to the country.
